REDUCTION OF LAND RENTAL AND WATER SURFACE RENTAL IN 2022 FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY THE COVID-19 Pandemic
On January 30, 2023, the Government issued Resolution 07/NQ-CP on reducing land rent and water surface rent in 2022 for subjects affected by the COVID-19 epidemic, according to which there are a number of Points businesses need to note in Resolution 07/NQ-CP are as follows:
- 30% reduction in land rent and water surface rent in 2022 for organizations, units, businesses, households, and individuals that are directly leasing land from the State according to Decision or Contract or Certificate of Rights land use, ownership of houses and other assets attached to land from competent state agencies in the form of land lease with annual payments due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic.
New point: The above regulations replace the fourth bullet point, point a, section 3, part II of Resolution No. 11/NQ-CP dated January 30, 2022 of the Government ( Previously Resolution No. 11/NQ-CP required request that subjects who reduce land rent or water surface rent must stop production and business due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic);
- The Ministry of Finance submits to the Prime Minister to promulgate a Decision stipulating the reduction of land rent and water surface rent according to the content specified in Resolution 07/NQ-CP.
